Listening to the players after the injury to Lilly wants to make me puke. Tavares " strong group tight knit" what a load of crap. Keefe "didn't like the lack of response" lol.Reaves on the lack of response to the Marchand hit the other night; ?It was addressed in the room. It?ll change going forward?. Blah blah blah I'll believe it when I see it. I expect them to play well tonight after all the criticism but deep down nothing will change until player personnel changes. Team hasn't learnt s**t from the past years of failure. Our D is starting to look like an AHL team hopefully Woll has a decent game if not Keefe's rope will shorten some more.
 
Yeah these lines aren't working.  Change it up Keefe. 

The team better come out flying but I'm expecting them to come out flat, go down --0 and then rally like they usually do.  This team just is what it is at this point.

I don't go as far as you do in demanding instant retribution but I agree with you: every one of their responses was laughable, starting with Keefe.  You hated the lack of response, Keefe?  Jeez, it's too bad you aren't in a position to demand something different RIGHT THEN.
 
I really hate to say this but the more time passes the more this team reminds of the Alfredsson senators.

You know what it's not even instant retribution but address it at some point. Problem with this is they won't or don't address it enough. Would I have liked to have seen someone lay Marchand out u betcha as I can't stand the POS. But even someone go up to him right after it happened and a push, a shove, some words or a good shot to the head whatever but nothing. When I watch the replay it looks like Marner skates to the corner right after the takedown and does absolutely nothing. That is what's unacceptable. Man Marchand isn't a big player if I was Marner I would have pasted him onto his ass or at least tried. This isn't a one time thing. The hit on Knies last year a rookie just getting his feet wet playing awesome and the BS hit by Bennett and nothing and I can go on.

Like I said, their thermostat is set too low and it begins with Keefe, runs through Tavares, and on down the line.

That team did make it to a finals.  They lost once they got their, but they did make it.
 
The clock change means I can at least dip into the first period tonight hurrah! I?m hoping for the entertainment to encourage me to stay on for the latter periods?

Interesting to note the lack of neck guards. I was at a game in Belfast tonight and it was noticeable that virtually every player had opted to wear one. Obviously very topical over here.
