So by my calculations, if Robertson is scratched every other game he will have 41 goals.

And yet the biggest difference is losing Marner. I don't think this is a talent issue considering they've been good when either of Matthews or Marner have been out over the last 10yrs.

I said it over on the main forum, to me it’s a style issue. Being forced to try and play a style that doesn’t suit the personnel.

Talent and personnel wise I mean just tonight’s lineup rather than overall but without Nylander there’s basically just one top line player in the forwards, so really only one line.

I don’t think the playstyle is an issue, just the personnel commitment to doing it. Every team wilts under relentless waves of forecheck.
