A considerably less NHL-heavy line-up tonight, which shouldn't be a surprise. But a big opportunity for guys like Robertson, Grebenkin, and Cowan to likely get big minutes. Also the pre-season debut of Alex Nylander.

This is where if I were the coaching staff, I'd want to see the NHLers play shutdown roles (with the kid NHLers) and the Marlie lines will try to drive the offense (these are probably the top 6 in the Marlies before Minten is reactivated). Greb and Cowan probably get another rotation mid-way through the game since they're our middle-6 flex rookie options.

They may well need all of them on the roster next year to help get under the cap.
Good chance they will all be able to solidly contribute by then as they're making some noise now.

I didn't see the first period but Robertson is about the only standout I have seen in the 2nd period aside from McMann's short handed rush.

Robertson had a couple of good rushes up the ice.  Shielding the puck on zone entry with some momentum to drive toward the net
