It's very much Tavares and the kids, but the 'depth' is all the Marlies high-end or Leafs cusp players aside from Clifford. I'd personally want to try Gregor-Holmberg-Lafferty out as that would be a potential Leafs 4th line, but they do want to try out Lafferty's wheels with Tavares. Domi-Robertson is what we saw practicing with Nylander so why not try them with another transition centre in Cowan.

With Gambrell now concussed and Janrock injured perhaps having Lafferty's awesome speed is not such a bad thing.

Dubas didn't sign Lafferty.  Chicago did and we acquired him in a trade.  I'd rather have Acciari over Lafferty but we would be in even worse cap constraints with a 2 million dollar Acciari.

Ah, maybe I should have said "losing their spot to the salary cap". (Klingberg apparently trying to help out with that too 😉)
 
I like Timmins and don't know why they stopped playing him last year. Think he should stick with the club
