PIT
?Alex Nedeljkovic (16-6-6, 2.82 GAA, .907 Sv%) will likely start for the Penguins
?A 6-0-1 record in their last 7 games has pushed the Penguins into legitimate playoff contention for the first time in awhile this season. A win on Saturday actually put them into the final wild card spot on the East before being bumped out with a Detroit win on Sunday
?Michael Bunting, traded to the Penguins as part of the Guentzel to Carolina trade, has been very good for his new team. He has 13 points in 16 games since the trade including a clutch game winning goal in Pittsburgh win on Saturday

TOR
?Ilya Samsonov (22-6-7, 3.03 GAA, .893 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs

Sidney Crosby has long faded off the top players' list but he's still pretty darned good.

40 goals is better then pretty darned good!

Torn because I want Crosby in but the Leafiness dictates a Dubas Stanley Cup.

I guess the formula is working. They must know they have to minimize chances against and score lots.

Dubas still retains much of the taint of Leafiness.

The save percentage is largely being anchored down by one game where he saved one shot out of 4 and got an early hook; the Leafs ended up winning as well.

His Sv% is also .912 since he came back from his hiatus. His early season struggles really weighed down those numbers.

Save percentage is just total saves/total shots.

With that game: 895/1002 = 0.893213573
Without that game: 892/998 = 0.893787575
Difference: 0.000574002

I hate math. Can't even blame this one on Friday lol

Matthews is at 48 even strength goals; he also sits 2 back from Mats Sundin's 273 Leaf-career even strength goals.

Anyway, I think we should do the Penguins a solid and win in OT.
