I can see where the Avs were impressed with Roy's record with the Remparts. But he is also quite the hothead, both as a player and a coach.              Of course, he wouldn't be the first or last with that reputation.

I suppose bro Stephane is Roy's PR guy now, at least on facebook? LOL.  8)

Added rumour to the title, as this isn't confirmed. I'm sure it will happen though in due time.

Also, how much do you think everybody in the Colorado organization, and possibly even Patrick himself, is fuming about Roy's brother making that post? I mean, what an idiot.

TSN text confirms. He's also the VP of Hockey Operations. Can't remember the last time a coach has held that title as well.

The Avs better hope this works out. It's going to be mighty tough to fire team legends like Sakic and Roy.
