So...my keepers are due in like...a little over a week. Gotta keep 4 guys, I'm pretty much convinced I'll be keeping Zetterberg, Perry, Getzlaf...the final choice is a bit of a mystery though. Couldn't find any fantasy topics, so I figured this would be as good a place as any, as it'll give me easy to read/understand feedback!

I would take Mike Green, because he's probably going to be one of, if not the highest scoring defencemen in the league for the foreseeable future.

This is a tricky one. With 3 forwards already picked, I'd cross out Skinner and Iginla pretty quickly. I'd worry about Byfuglien ever reaching the numbers he did last season again, since the vast majority of them came in the first 3 months of the season. Yandle and Green will likely be amongst the highest scoring defencemen in the league for the next decade. Green has better team-mates of course, but he's also a little more unpredictable considering his injury concerns and the fact that Washington will likely never allow him to play the rover-type role he used to. Yandle is probably the safer bet here, with Green having a slightly higher ceiling.

Bryzgalov is also an interesting option of course though, particularity if you plan on competing for a championship in the next few years and if goalie stats play a large role in your league. Most of the other top goalies in the league will likely be picked as keepers by other teams, meaning it will be slim pickings in the goalie market come draft time.

Goalie stats are a pretty big deal in our pool...there's like 10 stats, and goalies account for 4 of them. Wins, GAA, Sv%, and SOs...if Bryzgalov was on last year's Phili team I think I'd take him, but I'm kind of sketchy about the team without their two best players from last season. I think he  could win 40 games easily next year...and if he puts up .920...that's huge. But I also figure goalies are so unpredictable, I'll be able to pick up a Craig Anderson (which I did after the Ottawa trade) and he'll catch fire or something.

I was down to Green or Bryz, but I didn't even realize that Yandle put up the fantastic numbers that he did. Green's play last year was so bad, and he was hurt so often...that could bust huge for me.

I would go with either green or bryz, depending on how you think bryz will do with the flyers.  Green did have an off year last year but he is still going to be a very high scoring defensman and now they can play a bit more offensivly with Vokun in net.

Iggy!

30+ goals every year for a decade, and in an off year, he's still a 70 point player. Typically closer to 90+.

Given the choices you have already taken, its green by a landslide to finish up your picks..

Yup! Thanks a lot guys, looks like there's gonna be a ton of goalies going back into the draft anyways. So I'll be able to draft one without worrying.

So this is my team. Let me know how you think I did!

10 person league, unfortunately I traded most of my picks last year only to finish 2nd in the regular season, beat the 1st place guy...and lose in the finals to the 6th place guy. Upsetting.
