I think that is wonderful depending on the dollars - hopefully bonus laden.
There's a very good chance he's a better goalie after that surgery.
Leafs rehabbed him. They would know.
I don't know how the cap math or waivers (if planned) would work ..

He did such a good job, he probably wouldn't have snuck through waivers this time.
He may land as a backup for a team.

Only thing would be waivers unless we are planning on carrying 3 goalies.  But yeah, I like it as an insurance policy.  He didn't complain and reasonable to give him a chance.  With Hildeby on his 2nd NA season if we have to dip to goalie #4 on the depth chart I'm fine with that.

I have no issue at all with this. Good guy, wants to be here and super high ceiling. It wouldn?t surprise me at all if the playoffs started with Murray and Stolarz
