Fun question to mull about. If you were at the game, would you give Steven Stamkos the Daniel Alfredsson treatment? I was against signing him but I think I would, just to make him feel bad.

It's funny to think of it because of how good Chicago's been for so long but in a way this is sort of the Leafs' first game against a team that was seen as being on a short list of contenders.

The defensive play on this team reminds me of the the years when we had Wilson and Carlyle behind the bench and we were giving up 30-40 shots a night. Guys have to do a better job with the defensive coverage in our own end. Horrid play and not just the D. Already left Andersen out to dry a couple times.
That give-and-go with Marner and Bozak (I think?) at the blue-line was pretty special.
