So far..Thornton>Vesey on Matthews' line. Would like to see Mikheyev or even Barabanov get a shot there. I'm just not liking Vesey's game yet.

When Robertson and Thornton come off LTIR we have accumulated enough time for him to fit on the roster?

Not sure. I think they have about 50K in accured space so far. They will be able to run a 21 man roster though so they could use him if they want.

"Laine wakes up and scores 40 goals for breakfast"... weird comment about a guy who's scored 40 once and has scored at a 31-goal pace over the past 2 seasons. Not to say Laine definitely won't get back to his goal scoring days in his first two seasons, but it's hardly a lock to happen. Especially in Columbus.

He's def a gifted goal scorer though. We'll see how Torts uses him.
