Game Notes

TOR
?Mrazek (6-3-0, 2.95 GAA, .899 Sv%) will start for the Leafs
?The Leafs two more recent additions were not at practice with the team on Sunday. Lyubushkin is expected to meet the team in Columbus on Tuesday, while Dzingel is on waivers so will either be joining the Marlies or a team that claims him

MTL
?Montembeault (3-10-4, 3.81 GAA, .895 Sv%) will start for the Canadiens
?After losing 10 straight games the last place Canadiens have won 2 in a row for the first time all season, with their 2nd coming in a shootout victory over the Islanders on Sunday
?Two Canadiens stand out as players being a little rejuvenated with Martin St. Louis behind the bench. Caufield had 8 points in 30 games before the coaching change and 5 points in 5 games after. Jeff Petry had 6 points in 38 games pre-MSL and 4 points after

I think they destroy them tonight..

I'm not liking the looks of this one. You know the Habs will be out to beat us this is almost like a playoff game for them. Leafs need to bring a good effort, not take them too lightly. St. Louis has them playing better. Caufield has started to put the puck in the net. Leafs in my books have been mediocre the last month and playing too sloppy. Honestly with you ZBBM they better bring a good effort. Lose to this sh*t show of a team is inexcusable.

I'm sorry. I refuse to believe it's possible to get worked up over the outcome of a Monday night game in mid-February.

Since Montreal beat St. Louis last week, does that make St. Louis a bad team? Because I'm confused if Toronto losing to St. Louis is an example of us not being able to compete with a good team or embarrassing because we couldn't beat a team that lost to the 32nd place team in the league. I have no idea how to grossly overreact to one-game sample sizes.

Leafs are having their best year ever and some will always look for the negative. It's a long season, enjoy the ride.

I don't think it means much when St. Louis lost to Montreal.  If the Leafs lose to the 32nd place Habs it will be proof that they are a terrible team and organization and Dubas just loves dum-dums who can't win.

Losing to Arizona already proved this.

Come out with the foot on the pedal and don't let up regardless of the score. Good shellacking would definitely make my day.

My God Holl. Minute and a half in and almost already cost us. Get rid of this guy. How long do we have to keep watching him mess up. What are Keefe and Dubas watching.
