Well, I don't know anything about this guy specifically but hopefully the Leafs hit on enough of these guys that they can create some cap room by making Kerfoot, Johnsson or Kapanen expendable.

Mikheyev appears to be on his way to at least giving the Leafs the option to doing that. Granted it's only been 9 games and I doubt he continues to score at a 60-point pace.

His style of play seems like something that can be reproduced over a season.  He's not running around like Komarov trying to hit everything and he skates well.
