Hello!

Not sure what the protocol is these days but it's been so long since I've posted I thought it might be best to reintroduce myself!

Hey HS - hope you are well :)

Yup a long time! Can't even say I've been lurking, been following the leafs all these years still but family life and other stuff took over! Firmly back on the bandwagon though and will try and spend more time on TML again :)

Hey, here's a question that got kicked around at my Easter dinner you might be able to answer. What does Irn Bru actually taste like? Is it orange flavoured or just orange coloured? The wikipedia page is no help.

It's not orange flavoured, it has it's own unique taste, there isn't really anything to compare it too. Great for hangovers!

Cheers for that. I can order some on Amazon and I just might to quell this long running curiousity.

Make sure it is ice cold when you drink it! and it's not a bad mixer with vodka ;)

Well, it is made in Scotland from Girders, so there is a faint metallic taste to it. ;)

It could also just be the blood you're tasting as it takes the top layer of your esophagus with it as it goes down. :D

It's always been too sweet for me, I didn't mind a diet Irn-Bru on occasion though, sacrilege for some.

LHF - I've been here, just changed my moniker to Patrick for a while. ;)

You need to get back over to see what Brendan is building in person ;) Been a cracking season, me and leaf junior off to Hamdump on Sunday and then the crubledome next Saturday :)

Absolutely, thanks to CelticTV I see most games, but I'd love to take the wee man once he is a bit older.

The last game I went to was the 1-0 Old Firm at Parkhead, Ledley with the winner. It was the last ever Old Firm before that mob died. It was also my wife's first ever football game, to say she was blown away was an understatement.

Usually, when we are back it's over the winter break and there is either a shutdown or it's all away games. :(
