Golden Knights vs. Leafs - Oct. 8th, 10:00pm - TSN4

[Bender]

This reffing has been absolute bullshit. All these calls against the Leafs and nothing for rock bottoming OEL who never had the puck.

[Bill_Berg]

Holy crap this 3 on 3 can be boring.

[Guilt Trip]

Bob is cool as a cucumber. What a game from him.

[azzurri63]

McKenna on the pine in OT gotta love it f me.

Keeps it simple

[herman]

Marner eats poop on his attempt

McKenna forgot the sticky spray on his blade

[Bill_Berg]

Shootouts suck.

[herman]

Why the frick is Tavares shootouting

[L K]

I'm not going to be too upset about the shootout loss. The second period was terrible but Vegas also had the refs helping them maintain momentum with four straight calls in their favour to none for the Leafs

[Guilt Trip]

Ya gotta go with the youth. Cowan should be up before JT. Oh well, they got a pt.

[cw]

Matthews & Nylander were the only current Leafs forwards with a shootout goal as a Leaf
Matthews & Nylander were the only current Leafs forwards with a penalty shot goal as a Leaf
Marchenko was 61% 11-18 before Toronto
Tavares had about 25% shootout % in NY but had been 0-7 with the Leafs
Blueger was 1 for 1 before he came to Toronto
Roslovic 0-4 career
Duhaime & Sissons & Paul 0
Cowan & McKenna had 0 attempts

My two favourite things from that game:

A massive Raddysh slapshot that led to a goal. (I felt all Bryan McCabey for a moment)

That Bobrovsky glove save.

I also kind of liked the Golden Knights centre ice logo thingy. It was kinda Vegas trashy but also kinda cool.
