After absorbing a 2-5-1 run through November, Toronto appeared to turn the corner near the end of the month when it won three of four, a streak that included 7-1 wins over Tampa Bay and Washington, two teams the Leafs could be battling for a playoff spot later this season. But the back-to-back losses against the Bruins gave the Leafs an 0-4-0 record this season against their division rival as they headed into New York for a Monday night affair against the Rangers.

Against the Blueshirts, Toronto raced out to a 3-0 lead with League scoring leader Phil Kessel?s two assists pacing the offense. The Rangers managed to cut the lead to 3-2 by the end of the second period, but an empty-net goal from David Steckel and 12 third-period saves from Jonas Gustavsson allowed the Leafs to preserve the 4-2 win.

Jersey is struggling we need to take advantage.
Leafs win 3-1.  Kessel gets back to scoring and Kule gets one as well.
 
the devils are coming in rested...hopefully the leafs aren't too tired from the rangers tilt ..  I feel like the devils were sitting at .500 the last time we played them too ...so while they've struggled..i guess they've been consistant

At least there was no travel involved just a bus ride across the river to Uniondale
 
the GameDayBears are sitting this one out as I'm working tonight :-( the Lupul hearts will also get a rest.

If the game's still in progress when I get home at 10, I'll try to catch up :D

Hope they can grab 2 more pts tonight.  I will have to listen on the radio as will be in Guelph for DD's own hockey game tonight.  Bummer.
 
Loops had a hattrick the last game against Jersey.  I'm calling Lupul for 1, Kessel with a goal and assist, Kulemin, MacArthur for a goal and Phaneuf and Liles with 2 assists each.
