Dallas leads the league in hits (ignoring the home bias of those stats).

My hope is that the Leafs don't try to pound back hit for hit. They are not built that way - particularly with Komisarek, Brown & Armstrong out. I hope the Leafs stick to their strength and when a Star gets out of position trying to make a hit, the Leafs use their speed to counter with a scoring chance to make them pay.

Gus has a chance to break the .900 save% plateau. He's at .899 right now. Hope he does.

EDIT: Toronto hasn't won in Big D since Oct. 22, 2003.
 
I don't do well at predictions, but I will try again.....

Leafs are on the road and have been having a fun time together at the Cowboys game etc. They are rested and fresh - I would expect them to be flying.

Dallas has been at home eating tryptophan laced turkey so they may be off to a slow start and by then it will already be 4-0 Leafs as they unleash 7 different kinds of heat (Owen Wilson style) on the Stars.

Kessel will have a big game and bag another hat-trick.

8-2 Leafs.

 
I like those 7-1 results of late, so why not to do it again. Kulemin with 3 points. Tear them up, boys! GO LEAFS GO!

Clearly, he only believes the Leafs are capable of skating in short bursts in straight lines. I mean, that's what sprinters do, right? :P

Shades of the game against Tampa, where Roloson has been Jekyll and Hyde all season, get a lot of pressure going early and hope that history helps you out.
 
With only 4 points separating first and ninth place in the Eastern Conference we can't afford to lose any games. Light Dallas up tonight boys.
 
I am in Kingston tonight. I rushed like crazy to get here and now I find that Sportsnet in Kingston has the Sens game. Does anyone have a link to see the game online?
