Game 23 - Maple Leafs @ Stars 08:30pm

It just boggles my mind  how T.O. can go into total CRAP mode. stand around. Let Dallas move the puck around wherever they want. Total bunch of Pylons....
 
Damn, hard to fault anything there, the Leafs weren't playing bad there for an exhausted line and Gus made a few big saves before that.   

However, I'm just not seeing what Millen is obsessing about with Gardiner's play.  He's playing well but he makes a lot of bad decisions too.

It was a very long shift with sustained pressure by Dallas. It's not really all that boggling. It was also a beauty of a screen by Phaneuf on Gustavsson there.

It boggles my mind how you can't grasp a team taking it to a tired line (with 2 rookies on it no less).  It happens to every team, as Deebo has explained once already.

Teams hem other teams in and make other teams look bad at times.  Accept the reality and you'll enjoy the games more, IMO.
 
Not liking our play without Gunnarson out there. He plays the big minutes and usually gets the puck out safely. I'll be amazed if we win this game.

It's happened this particular game several times. It's happened a couple times in other games. They're standing around and getting out worked tired or not. We were lucky to score on one of the couple shots we had this period because they've kept coming at us we're having a hard time getting out of the zone.

So?  You're never going to stop it from happening at all.

What do you expect the Leafs to do offensively?  Do you want them to take it to the other team like that?  And if they do, will you be bewildered at why the other team lets that happen?

It happens.  It's not fun, but good teams will limit the number of times it happens.
