It's not that the Leafs have been outplayed, but they aren't outplaying a team who is playing their 3rd in 4 nights.  I haven't seen an improvement in the Leafs effort since the Boston beat-down at all.  Scrivens is the only reason they won against St. Louis.

They were brutal before that. They haven't played a solid game since the Pitts win end of Oct.

On the plus side, the Leafs have really only had a handful of bad shifts tonight. Unfortunately, they've had even less good shifts. They've played pretty meh hockey so far.

I don't even want to see the PP at this point.  Maybe the Leafs need to stop using set lines on the PP and should try mixing it up?

Also, Bozak has been thrown out of every single faceoff on the PP.  What the heck is going on?

Looking a the big picture, you can't be too critical of a team that is likely soon to be 10-6-1 while playing 2/3ds of its games w/o the #1 goaltender.  Yet there are so many holes in this team that you can't really be all that positive about them.
