CGY
?Dan Vladar (7-5-2, 3.30 GAA, .885 Sv%) will likely start for the Flames
?Calgary won has 4 games in a row, and are 10-4 in their last 14 games. This stretch has put them right back into the playoff conversation in the West as they currently sit 9th in the conference
?Blake Coleman is surprisingly leading the charge for Calgary recently. He has 25 points in his last 19 games to give him 38 points total this season. That matches his previous career high that was set last season in 82 games
?Jonathan Huberdeau's struggles since joining the Flames have been well documented. After a 12-game pointless streak though he did record 8 points in his last 8 games, but missed Calgary's last game with an illness

TOR
?Martin Jones (8-5-1, 2.36 GAA, .922 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Wouldn't be shocked to see Samsonov get a start here either, so we'll have to wait and see what happens at the morning skate

Great. An opportunity the Leafs won?t squander to let another Canadian team catch them in points.

If the Leafs can?t trade their way out of this front loaded team, I?m not sure what they can do to improve the back end .

Don't see any reason why the Leafs can't win this game in convincing fashion.  5-2 Leafs.

That's the problem. You would think they can win all sorts of games in convincing fashion. They just don't.

Yep with these NTC we are basically doomed until they expire. Question is will management be dumb enough to keep doing it? So far the answer seems like yes.

I think the assumption is because of some of the talent we have that should be the case but in reality the team just isn't that good as previous years. Dubas left the team thin in so many areas. Treliving should run with what he has in my opinion, don't get rid of anymore drafts or young players and see what happens and start again with whatever money they have free for next year. Best scenario would be for someone to waive and change the whole complexion of this team but that's not going to happen.

Not feeling it. We'll see what changes as the game goes.

What will happen: Domi will whip a hopeless no-look pass into the slot for an easy turnover and rush chance against (if Jones, it will be stopped unless Brodie is in that lane; if Samsonov, it will be stopped but juicy rebound to Kadri for the easy goal), so Robertson will be benched to an even higher pressbox seat to learn the game.

Just put him on the roof.  It is the Saddledome.

I hate to pile on Brodie but he looks like he's falling off the same cliff Gio did in the playoffs.
