Gudas is definitely more of a strictly 3RHD guy while DeMelo could/would have played higher in the line-up.

I wouldn't really want DeMelo playing on the top pairing with Rielly but it probably would have been a better Rielly-Hainsey type scenario than what we would get with something like Rielly-Brodie, especially if you factor in the cost difference between Brodie and DeMelo.
