Don't really care about this series. I was rooting for Carolina in round 1 because Boston, so I would rather see them out. Penguins scored more goals than I expected given Shesterkin's regular season, but he still got the job done. I am not really sure how this series is going to go because I really didn't follow the first round other than online outside of the Leafs. For some reason my gut is telling me to go with the Rangers. I'll say 7 games.

Didn't expect either of these teams to be here, so . . . Rangers take 7 games to earn the right to lose in the next round, I guess?

I know it doesn't mean much... But the Penguins were really unlucky. We thought the Leafs last round may have been unlucky, nothing on the Pens.

Wow this series has been boring.  Neither team good.  I refuse to believe New York looks remotely as good next year

Middle of the pack team with an absolutely elite goalie. If Shesterskin takes any sort of real step back in performance, they'll be in rough shape.

Dude?s putting up points now, too.

Jesperi Kotkaniem with 29 points in 66 regular season games and 0 goals and 2 assists in 14 playoff games. His 8-year, $38,560,000 contract starts next season. I guess there's nowhere to go but up from here.

Freddie Andersen invisible for another game 7

Gotta feel for him a little. After a couple of subpar regular seasons he has a career year where he's a Vezina nominee favourite for much of the season and then just barely misses out on what was surely a very tight race for the 2-4 spots. He also gets a chance to finally put his playoff demons to bed on a team that had a fairly favourable path to the Eastern finals but he gets hurt with 2 weeks left in the season and can't recover in time.

What a Bizarro run the Rangers are having. Didn't think the Hurricanes would choke like this but man those injuries last night were bad and they just looked off the whole game.
