What is it with all the injuries in this organization this season? Is it the change in the style of play ? I don’t remember the whole organization being this depleted with injuries

Thankfully the Marlies have a relatively comfortable cushion on a playoff spot right now, as they'll likely finish the regular season without 3 of their top forwards in Quillan, Groulx, and Boyd (and less notably Pezzetta).

He seemed like he'd be a really easy guy to root for when he was drafted. At 24 (crazy he's already that old) I'm not sure this offence means all that much but it'd be nice to see him get a few games here anyway just to see what's up.

I've pumped his tires many times here. Every time I see him play live, he does something that stands out. The guy is a great skater and can play in all situations. I think the difference in offensive output has to deal with being given a chance to play on the #1 line with Shaw and Nylander. The games I saw him play, he's the driver on that line. I don't understand why this guy has never gotten a sniff with the Leafs. He's an RFA after this season so who knows if he'll even be in the org next season.
