Honestly, I'd guess almost all of the coaches in the league have that attitude. Actually making the leap from measuring analytics to getting coaching staff to implement their conclusions has always been a contentious area and how good a coach is at sounding right in the media on the subject doesn't really seem to make that much of a difference(See Martin, Matt).

Oh great, another lockout because GMs need to be protected from themselves.

I don't get why they don't just collude amongst themselves and collectively agree not to use NTCs like they have with offer sheets.

Let's not kid ourselves. When the CBA comes around the league will go after things like NTC/NMC's, signing bonuses, length of player contracts and % of league revenue.

And they'll get it.
