Yup they all should share the blame. Depth was a huge problem for the Leafs in the post season. Every team needs depth scoring to have success. You can't have the B6 pitching zeros.

I'm keeping Knies over Nylander. Knies will be 24 to start the year, Nylander is 30. $4M less, hits, fights, plays better D. 88 is 1 dimensional and having said that, I think he gets the better return. Having a power forward on both top lines would be a good thing.

From what I read, Poitras isn't waiver exempt because he played more then 11 games the year he signed when he was 19.

If he wants out, he's getting traded. There's zero chance he's happy with the Leafs style of play or being saddled with Domi or being deployed like Kampf. Both he and 88 told management they need help up front and need better puck moving D.
