McMann's play has both been underwhelming in my opinion. The guy is given consistent opportunities on the top 2 lines and can never seem to string together multiple games where he makes an impact. As for Lorentz, for a bubble guy, he certainly doesn't seem to be playing with a fire lit under him.

What has everyone thought of Blais so far? My viewing has been limited, but the shift or two I watched, I actually really liked the way he plays.

The pinch runners is what killed them. With Vladdy having another off night, that line up struck fear in no one. It never felt like they had a chance to win it once Springer, Barger, Bichette and Kirk were out of the line up.

You're right, a goalie's focus should be on the puck. Never once has a goalie been looking at the angle of a stick. What does that even mean?

Something being stoppable and something being stopped every time are two very different things. The Leaf's goaltending is least of their worries. With the amount of odd person rushes/breakaways the Leafs gave up, without Stolarz in net, that's a 8 or 9-2 game. Give your head a shake and quit...
