I was going to say I’ve actually little to no idea how the Leafs are winning this game but actually I do think a big chunk of the reason has the number 60 on the back of his jersey. That and a very premature whistle from a ref after 10 seconds.

NHL need to work on their scheduling. There’s currently 10 games off. 7 of them faced off at 4pm. 2 of them at 5pm. So they’ve all been in intermissions at the same time. Stagger half of them to 4.30 or something so there’s live action to flick to during the period breaks of other games.

Maybe it’s the old lull the opposition defence and goalie to sleep from severe underwork so when you do do something attacking it’s such a surprise it leads to a shock goal tactic. Almost worked when the goalie did nothing for 10 minutes then *BOOM* breakaway out of nowhere

I think this is where I am. I just don't think this combination is the right one for this team. I don't think the team is well built. And I don't think the coach is correct for the personnel that are on board. And there's no real way to remake the roster any more for this coach. Plus not many...

It has all the hallmarks of a situation where they’ve tuned out or aren’t buying what they’re being told to do. They’re playing like they don’t believe in the system/coach/direction/whatever it is.

I've been very impressed with that Utah have done. Both in terms of the infrastructure and also the way they're marketing and stuff. Even the changes they've managed to make to the arena so far. Good ownership. Helps that they're about to be a very good team as well, I think.
