Mariners are just a better team, I feel. No shame in that. Jays have massively exceeded expectations and they’ve been (mostly) great fun to watch again. My hope is they can get a game or two at least out in Seattle and not now surrender meekly..

I love when they have these rare early face offs that are peak UK time… and it clashes with me being out to watch Northern Ireland v Germany in a World Cup qualifier instead. Sake. NHL need to pay more attention to their scheduling.

I tried the NHL website highlights. They’re about 8 minutes long on average instead of 11 or so for Sportsnet. I stuck one on every now and again as a break from work but it was about 3pm before I got them all watched 😂 I checked a few clubs own YouTube’s and a lot don’t even have any...

I use an IPTV service. It’s obviously not an “official” service. It gives me access to around 42,500 tv channels, streaming services and feeds from all round the globe, including the likes of the regional channels on ABC or sportsnet etc. And it cost me less for a year than most cable packages...

Still 2 chances to get it done. Could make for some atmosphere back at Skydome in a couple of days…

I could kind of see the argument for that line with Laughton and Cowan. Then the option to drop Cowan in for spot duty in other places if he earned it during games etc. But yeah, he's better off top line and doing everything in the AHL than playing with Kampf or anyone else in the usual bottom...
