    Ultimately, Marner signing here is his decision and I doubt he's re-signing. But yes the Tavares money could be enough to make some interesting changes, especially if you get rid of guys like Jarnkrok and Kampf too.

    So they have 28 million to spend in the off season? Give or take. Knies will cost 5? Can they get rid of Rielly, and one of Kampf or Jarnkrok to free up another 10? That gives them 33 to spend. They can really goon up with that kind of money.

    Really the problem is they never cheat. Everyone that beats them does. Salary cap shenanigans and on ice interference type stuff.
