I'm not ready to abandon all All-Stars games. I'd look to do a NHL vs AHL all-star game. NHL vs Russian Hockey League (and the other top euro leagues) or go back to the Stanley Cup winner vs Rest of the League. What I really want is a mid-season 3-on-3 tournament between all the NHL teams.

I don't think the Leafs or Marner want a reunion. The feeling is mutual. I think the only thing the Leafs would change is not getting anything in return for Marner leaving the Leafs.
