Love it.  Reasonable deal that comes in exactly where we expected it to.  Maybe a quarter of a million less. Domi got better as the season progressed after being unimpressive to start. Adds some jam to this team and he paired well with Matthews. Good start to the off-season.

Was hoping the Leafs would sign Tanev to help bring an element to the D the team has sorely been lacking, so this would be a solid first move for the off-season.  Here's hoping the term and money are reasonable.

Well this was certainly unexpected and heartwrenching to come across when I saw it on the TSN site.

Anyone else find the crying and bellyaching over the Ontario Science Centre to be over the top?  It was a piece of crap when I was a kid, and it's a decrepit piece of crap 30+ years later located in such an awkward location.

Wanted Edmonton to win.  Really disappointed they didn't.  Was hoping to see McDavid hoist the Cup and a Canadian fanbase celebrate a Cup win again. I don't give a damn about the Panthers and eff them.  But I'm really happy for Maurice.  He deserves it.  That interview and Cup raising were epic.

Yeah, full marks to Tkachuk on that play and the hustle he beared down with to stop that from going in. I did have to wonder though if he was better served having the net knocked off the moorings than being unlucky having them come down right back into position for McDavid to hammer one home...

After 3 games, 3 points and questions of his ability to step up when it matters most. After 5 games, 11 points, and has had one of the most productive playoffs in NHL history. He's a freak.

I know.  But as I suggested, I'm surprised it doesn't/hasn't happened more often. 

I agree that I don't see an Edmonton comeback happening, as much as I'd like it to. But as I've said it on these boards before, I've never understood why the reverse sweep is deemed near impossible.  Not like teams haven't won four games in a row before. *shrug*

This is where I've been at for a long time now.  This can be the easiest negotiation by offering him $100 million over eight years and just be done with it.
