I can't cheer for them to lose.  And i like the way they're playing it's not like in past years where they were getting heavily outshot but were highly opportunistic so I vote for Go Leafs Go and let the cards fall where they may.  Like don't do anything crazy like be buyers at the deadline but...

i don't really have anything against schenn.  i'm more than thrilled at how the trade worked out but I don't have any particular desire to see him fail.

is it really Bernier?  Last night on the SN broadcast they seemed to think Reimer was playing tonight and that babcock had pretty much said as much.

they're a hardworking team.  they got outshot badly in the first but they came away with the lead and came back twice as hard.  when they have goaltending they're hard to beat.

Babcock seems to be the better coach.  I do think he's had a rather big advantage in the dressing room over carlyle in that by paying babcock as much as they did and the whole fan fare surrounding bringing him in.  It made it pretty obvious that players would be leaving before the coach would...

well at least they don't seem to get outshot 2-1 anymore...that's got to be some kind of improvement

that was a well earned win.  it felt like it was going to be one of those moral victories but they ended up with the two points.

I gotta say..pressure is just completely off this year..they lose games and i just shrug.  in my time being a leaf fan i can honestly say i've never cared so little about this team.  I just hope the feeling comes back when they actually have a team again.  but you know, go leafs go and all that...

The jays still have a long way back to win this series but I tend to think the advantage goes to the offense in a later series.  These hitters have more time to see the pitchers.  Obviously that goes for both teams but I guess I like to think hitting is one of the areas that the Jays should have...
