Sorry I wasn't clear - I was talking about comparing a potential armchair GM Kessel for Jones deal from 1.5-2 years ago vs a Johansen for Jones deal today.  From Nashville's perspective, Johansen plays the more important position than Kessel, but they lost 2 years of Playoff Phil in my armchair...

Man I've been wanting Seth Jones for a long time to come to the Leafs.  I wanted to trade kessel for Jones almost 1.5 years ago...maybe more. Johanssen plays the more important position though, so, Nashville did well on this.

I've been watching the Leafs on PVR for a very long time now.  It has saved on my personal sanity not having to waste 3 hours on this pathetic team 3/4 times a week like I had in the past.  Fast forwarding commercials and intermissions is gold.

Yeah agreed.  Although if you want Navarro to catch Estrada, then this would be the best option to keep Martin's bat in the lineup...trade-offs.

Hmm...its possible for Navarro to catch, Martin to DH and Edwin to move to 1st.  Smoak/Cola sit out as bench strength.

That's kind of where I'm at.  I'll live with Dermott and Dzerkials, but will always wonder what if, depending on how Merkley and Roy perform. (And I guess You'd be doing the same with Sprong).  Yes...of course they obviously feel that the chances of Dermott + Dzerkials > Merkley or Roy were...
