I do wonder how much, if at all, the impact of the suspensions played into it as mentioned in that MLHS article as well though. As it says, any time a Leaf did something it’s a long suspension - Kadri “to the end of the playoffs”, Spezza 6 games having never been suspended ever, Matthews 2...

The whole NHL suspension and general running is a joke. I’m actually on board with the MLHS article referenced above. Treliving could earn back a bit of my respect if he came out swinging on this one. I 100% doubt he will.

If it’s the ACL, it’ll be a year til we see him again. I’d also be worried that, if we thought he was slowing now, a year out and a repaired ACL could be very concerning… MCL is generally 2-3 months, maybe a little longer if surgery is needed.

My dad flew through Dubai today. He transitted via there about 2 weeks ago on his way out before this all started. They were sat in the departure airport yesterday to Dubai for about 17 hours waiting for their flight to Dubai to be able to depart. Once they got there this morning the airport...

But how sad it is that the owners have made fans dislike players for getting paid what they’re worth (or maybe claiming an extra few $x ) rather than just letting them be liked for being fun to watch.

Because it’s easier to limit their ice time to 4 minutes a game if you only have to worry about limiting one whole line instead of individual players on various lines.
