Apparently Drai and McD approve the hiring of Babs so we'll see where this goes. As for Cassidy, we'll see, but I think Woodcroft is the guy that should get some kind of position here.

Tverberg just does things the right way. Puck seems to follow him. Good positioning good stick will do that. Simple is a ball of energy. Johnstone...savvy vet that gets the job done. Nice to see Nylander score because truthfully he's been pretty awful the games I've been too.

Both should get a good look with the Leafs on the 4th line. Speed, energy, good defensively. Villeneuve has to be impressing Leafs brass. Very good puck management game again for him. Danford is getting better with each game. I'll say it again, kid looks legit. Great feet, great puck...

McCabe and Tanev are their best puck movers when under pressure. Not their best passers. Benoit, Carlo, Myers are not good even under little pressure. Danford, Villeneuve are very good at both for the Marlies.

Who said that? If he wants out they'll know and he'll lift his NMC. Then they'll get assets for now and the future. Leafs are going to try and avoid giving up "primo" 1st rounders.

If they had their 1sts the next couple of years, then it's possible.

Problem is you potentially kill the other lines that are going. They def need to get going.

The issue is that Rielly can't go against the other teams best like McCabe/Tanev can. That's why 44 wasn't used with him. WC are a lot different then the NHL. McCabe is def the best D man the Leafs have and it isn't close.

It's been terrible to be honest and that's not looking at it through Blue glasses. Unfortunate end but overall another entertaining game. Defensive breakdowns are killing them. Must win on Friday.

Great game so far. Ahktyamov, minus the 2nd goal stinker has been outstanding. Sim surprised me a little with his speed and playmaking ability. I can see him on the 4th line with the Leafs creating havoc one day.
