Another series win today vs. Houston. Progress? And Eric Lauer pitched his first real dud with the Dodgers today, coincidentally after they picked up Skubal, which could more than likely relegate him to the bullpen once again.

Yesavage leaves tonight's game in the 3rd after tweaking something in his leg or knee. It would have been nice to see what the team could do to finish the season somewhat healthy but here we are.

I don't disagree, but it seemed to me that after the goal, England retreated to their own end and just tried to defend. Play was a bit more back and forth before the goal. After the goal, they just seemed to stop attacking.

Not much controversy in this game. England scored first and sat back and allowed great chance after great chance. Every time they had a goal kick, they just kicked it back to Argentina. The result matched the play - Argentina was the better team today and deserved the win. England, who last won...

Lots of controversy to be sure. Second game in a row Argentina had a favourable call (or non-call) arguably win them the game.

Amazing that what amounts to a diving penalty may have cost the Swiss a chance to win against Argentina. Once that red card hit the field tilted and that was it.
