Markstrom to Florida

Well at least this trade shows that if we ever needed to get rid of an overpaid and over the hill goalie with years left on his deal someone out there would probably take him.
 
I'm not quite sure how this is an upgrade for Florida as he was pretty garbage last season. But cool for Florida I guess. Hopefully this goes terribly for them.
 
All this fuss over this 36 year old goalie while he seems to have had one respectable playoff run in his 16 year NHL career. He's only made the playoffs 3 times. I do not understand the NHL talent assessment of this position. His agent could be a great used car salesman.
 
Florida beats up Edmonton helped by having Bob be the better goalie...has a down year and then says let's do what the Oilers do and cheap out on goaltending. I don't get it
