4 million for Stralman or 3 million for Robidas.  I'm not sure if Stralman had any interest in the Leafs but I think he might have been more valuable, especially when the Leafs would hope to be a decent team again.
 
Loved him when he was with the Leafs. Would have been very happy to see him back.

Not sure I'd call it a steal either, but good value.

Eh. He looked ok in NY but in a bigger role? When he's not a little sheltered by a bunch of better defenseman?

I really think the only better defenceman on NY was McDonagh. And he'll likely either be paired with Hedman, whose a very underrated number 1 defenceman, or play on their 2nd pairing. So he won't be expected to be the teams top defenceman.
