BOS
?Linus Ullmark (22-10-7, 2.57 GAA, .915 Sv%) will likely start for the Bruins
?Boston's goalie plans are of course unknown to the public. It's expected that they will continue rotate goalies at this time as they have all season long so that means Ullmark could get the net for game 2

TOR
?Ilya Samsonov (23-7-8, 3.13 GAA, .890 Sv%) will likely start for the Leafs
?Nylander was on the ice on Sunday during Toronto's optional skate in Boston. His status for game 2 is still unknown but getting on the ice is at least a positive sign

Cut down on the undisciplined play and the defensive zone giveaways, and they should be fine.

This is true, but even if they do all that, the goaltending still worries me.

Agreed. Stay out of the box. Also, unless the Leafs are trailing, stop pinching.

Right now my gut is telling me that the Leafs are going to win tonight. Then again, I just finished watching highlights from the Jets and Canucks winning last night, so maybe I am on a bit of a Canadian high. :)

The goaltending is a potential area of concern, sure, but, if they can't cut down in those areas, it won't matter. Samsonov was solid when the Leafs D didn't explode and when they weren't taking unnecessary penalties.

It's the goalie at the other end of the ice that concerns me the most. The Leafs offence needs to find a few more holes there.

For sure. There is little margin for error.

Hopefully Saturday was game one over-excitement and they start playing with cooler and wiser heads from here on.

Hakuna... Matata... really?

I am having an impossible time attempting to write anything positive, I'll just give a Go Leafs Go!

Watched all the games yesterday.  The one thing that really really stood out to me was, the Leafs are as good or better than anyone else.  When the Leafs are "ON" they are as dangerous as any other team.

The Leafs scored the second most goals in the league this season.  If they can pay a little more attention to defensive side of the game, they can win.

There were various points through out the season, the most notable was when Rielly was out, where they clamp down defensively and play some superb hockey.  That's not a knock on Rielly, that's just the mental attitude shift the rest of the team buy into having one of their top players out.

I put my Leaf flag up. Maybe that will be the difference. Also, my neighbour hates the Leafs so I put it where he will have to see it every day.

Nylander skating at practice today, but as a spare part. Not a great sign for his availability tonight but there could also be some gamesmanship at play.
