He cleared waivers with the Leafs
He cleared waivers twice with the Bruins

Another tough situation.
He was a top six skilled guy who set some Marlies scoring records (over a shorter history) and then changed his game dramatically to try to make it in the bottom six.
He was 16th in the league with 16.x hits/60 last year among forwards. All his other general stats looked decent
A key one against him was always his skating speed. He hounded as a forechecker but never seemed to get on the higher side of average speed
Now, at $1.6 mil/yr, he's not as easy to fit in a cap tight situation.
I think he could be a good 3rd liner for a bottom feeder.
He'll probably be back eventually
