A "should" win for us tonight I think. I mean, outside of Cammalleri , Plekanec, and Pacioretty  (and I'm hesitant to included Plekanec and Pacioretty) there really isn't much there among that forward group.Their "D?" I don't know. Subban? I'm not sure what to make of him. Price can be very good but hasn't been so yet this year. In fact, the TSN boys did a fine job of going over the 17 goals he's let in so far and exposed what is a very weak glove side (high.) - I hope the Leaf coaches were watching!

Go Leafs go!

Has there been any news on Connolly?  I thought I remembered hearing during one of the games this week that he might be ready for tonight's matchup.

Pacioretty's been good this season.

Yes he has. I know he's a hab but I'm happy for him.

Nice of you to say.  He's really a rising star and to have a talent snuffed out at the beginning of his career would have been a disaster.

Keep your eye on him tonight, he's possibly the best player on the team already.  Cammalleri probably still has the edge on him but he's also 6-7 years older.

I think I read that he was listed as "doubtful" for tonight's game (meaning an improvement) and that he could play soon after.

EDIT: Here's what I saw...

Tim Connolly is considered possible, but unlikely for tomorrows game vs the Habs.

Spoke to Tim Connolly briefly today. Said he had no update, maybe something tomorrow. Nearing a return.

I have a feeling tonights results will be like thursdays.... I hope I'm wrong though... We really need a strong 60 minutes of play tonight. Go Leafs Go.

Montreal is fast and can move the puck really well, Price is going to turn it around at some point.

The Leafs need to slow the Habs down, do that and the Leafs should come out with the win.

3-0 Leafs

After that disaster against Boston I hope the Leafs come out flying in the first period, take an early lead and then just keep pouring it on. Leafs win 4-2.

Yeah, me too. I don't buy this "Wilson needs to do a better job of preparing the team" stuff. If they can't get up for a game against the Habs, a division rival and after getting smoked by another themselves, then Punch friggin' Implach couldn't motivate any better.

I guess he figures he better play at least a game sometime soon before taking himself out of the line-up indefinitely again.

Sounds like Bozak is out and Lomabardi will centre Lupul and Kessel, Steckel will centre Frattin and Kadri and Dupuis will centre Rosehill and Brown... according to Joas Siegel.

Also, they are saying Liles will play with Komisarek and Gardiner with Schenn.

I updated the first post to show this.

Well, that's probably better than going with Steckel as the team's #1 centre.

Thanks, just saw in Ice Chips about the updates.

I fear this game tonight like I feared Thursday night. Habs have 1 win, are desperate and playing at home. Leafs record is still good, no sense of urgency for the Leafs. It could be ugly. :(
