Dave Nonis has confirmed that Reimer has been placed on the IR retroactive to Saturday and is eligible to return on Sunday. Reimer's agent Ray Petkau said Reimer is planning on working out Friday providing his symptoms have cleared. Petkau said Reimer felt fine before Wednesday's skate, but developed a headache during the practice which got progressively worse.

F Phil Kessel left Friday's practice early but is expected to dress for Saturday's game against Pittsburgh. - TSN

Big game.... go monster..... i feel he is starting to get into a groove, and if so we could end up with a grear one two punch in net. ;D

Leafaholic99, you're doing a great job on these GDTs. If I may, I'd like to suggest maybe putting the team's records in there somewhere. Perhaps under the logos? If not, no big deal, like I said, you're doing a great job - and thanks for doing 'em!

6-5 Leafs in a sloppy barn burner. Grabbo with the winner, short handed, 3.8 seconds on the clock ;D

GO LEAFS GO!!!

The preview on the NHL gamecentre app describes this game as a "battle of first-place teams"

Hopefully we can have that title for a while :)

F Jordan Staal did not make the trip to Toronto with the team and will not be playing Saturday night. - Team Release

I'll be missing tonight's game for a John Mellencamp concert. If the show sucks and the game is good, I'll be disappointed :) On the other hand it might be a good game to miss?

So Crosby, Michalek (broken finger), Kennedy (concussion) & Staal are out and they're playing their backup, Johnson. Let's just say it could be worse for the Leafs. Hopefully, they're taking them lightly though I doubt Bylsma would do so.

As I mentioned in the NHL thread, their PK is remarkable. Their PP isn't too shabby either. Discipline, discipline and discipline has to be in the game plan tonight because the Leafs might be quite competitive at even strength.

In spite of the Pens injuries, I still think the Leafs are up against it. This is more than a one or two man roster of talent. But the Leafs probably won't get a much better opportunity to get a point or two out of them than tonight.

Go Leafs Go!  :)
