Yep no complaints about that cap hit. And the term, meh, maybe would've preferred a year or two less, but he will only be 32 at the end of this contract. Decent deal.

It's not awful, but I just don't think Bozak is a good enough player to be slotted in at his position in the lineup.

Probably not, no, but, that would have been my ideal number for him. I wouldn't have made the deal until I knew I was out on guys like Weiss and Filpulla, though.

He doesn't even crack the 3rd line of the top 4-5 teams IMO. I would have offered him the same deal the Flames offered Stajan (and came to regret within a week)......4 years 14 million.

I think this is a good deal.  The cap hit is reasonable, and the contract is also moveable once an upgrade is available (and once the Leafs get Kessel under contract).
