4 Pittsburgh Penguins vs 5 Philadelphia Flyers

Shoul dbe the most entertaining series in the first round. A few OT games, a few of the fisticuffs... I guess I am rooting for Pitt. The lesser of two evils
 
Pens in 7.

I think the "bloodbath" stuff is goofy, but it will be intense.  Pens have too much skill and pedigree, plus comes down to goaltending and Bryz is still unproven.

"There may be some bad blood between the teams right now but that won't be the case by the end of the series, experts say, since by then most of that blood will be all over the ice, boards and ceiling."

Pens in 6.
 
This will probably be the most entertaining series of the 1st round - two high-powered offensive teams that don't like each other. I just don't think the Flyers can match Crosby and Malkin if they both get going.

Agreed on that bit - I am really looking forward to this one. I think the Pens take it in 6, maybe 7 - Crosby and Malkin are typically big playoff producers, and Philly's goaltending is still suspect at times.

Pens in 6.  Won't be a complete cake walk for Pittsburgh, as it depends on the Flyers' goaltending whether they wilt, have it, or simply don't.  Then again, who can really stop Crosby, Malkin, Letang, and co.
