Quite the honour

Only player drafted by the Leafs to get that honour was Russ Courtnall

Eric Lindos and Mike Van Ryn are the only other players to wear a Leafs jersey that had captained the WJC team for Canada.

That seems like an exceedingly small list considering the stature of our team...
 
Leafs 5th rd pick Dan Hodgson in 1985 captained the junior team that also featured Wendel Clark and Shayne Corson.
