    Where Is Nathan Horton?

Horton is still collecting a full salary as long as he's 'trying' to play but hurt is he not?  So to go through surgery and then retire... he'd lose millions.

    Luis Severino is better.

Bernier's Arbitration Case | Sides settle at 2 years, $4.15mil AAV

Let him walk.  The worst that can happen is the Leafs draft Matthew Tkachuk.

Komarov in deep do-do with the law in Finland

Makes me want to go get some Finlandia.

    Nik Anrtropov

Between 1992 (Convery) and 2008 (Schenn), Antropov is the only Leaf draft in the top 10.  (And that was 10th overall at that.)

Lou Lamoriello named Leafs General Manager

If my roster wasn't 100% what I'd like it to be, I rather go with defence then offence to win.

Lou Lamoriello named Leafs General Manager

If the coaching and management are a 'team' that work together, I think Lou will fit in nicely.  If it becomes his way or the highway... then I see a problem.  You never know what his mandate with New Jersey was either.  If they were pushing him for playoff revenue over championships, then maybe...

Lou Lamoriello named Leafs General Manager

So if Babcock doesn't want a player playing, he still has control over the roster?

    Is TO tough enough?

I went to my daughter's rugby game today.  Hockey definitely has no need for toughness.  I actually don't understand why the prospect camp isn't half full of women players.

What's more important. winning the Cup or sustainable winning?

Maybe it's finally changed, but I remember counting the play-off games or rounds from 1993 onward and the Leafs were the most successful Canadian team.  You'd think they were the worst the way people talk.  It might be easier to look at draft pick position.  When did the Leafs have a good...

    Leafs trade for Taylor Beck

Think he'll make a good Marlie who'll be at the Leafs beck and call.

I agree, nothing to worry about.

    Leafs add Arcobello

True enough.  He played with the same passion as Kessel.  But Arcobello isn't a big guy like Clarkson.  He's 5'8", and seeing that he was throwing hits, kind of shows what this little guy is willing to do to make it.  It's the fight in the dog, not the dog in the fight.

    Leafs add Arcobello

Looking at this kid's stats when he played with Edmonton... he threw 1.85 hits per game.  Translate that rate to a full season, that would place him in 2nd between Komarov and Clarkson among forwards last year.  A good link about him...

    Kessel traded to Penguins

All they would have to do is open up a 'Burke's Dog House" like they did at the ACC and they could of landed an elite goal-scoring machine. - Jim Nill's Wiener World? - MacLellan's House of Frankfurter? - Kekalainen's Foot Long Emporium?

Kasperi Kapanen, is he any good?

Well I can't knock Kasperi.  I can only eat three hot dogs myself.

    Kessel traded to Penguins

The cost for Kessel was two 1st rounders, 1 second rounder.  After 5-6 seasons, like a car, he's depreciated somewhat.  The Leafs get back a 1st, a player drafted in the 1st, a player drafted in the 2nd... and a 26 year old Spalling and a 3rd.  The only criticism I would have goes back to the...
