I agree with part of this but is a consistent 35-40 goal scorer with a sub-par center really underpaid? Kane a 25-30 goal scorer is making 10.5 next year with an elite center, (and screwing his teams salary cap big time). Does that make Kessel more reasonable?

How about the first rounder we got for Franson and Santorelli? Franson played 13:01 while 4 other d-men played 43 minutes plus. I am glad we got what we could for him and I'm sure that's not helping his contract situation.

Personally I didn't think he was that bad but I understand having players you don't like and they can do no right at all. Mine is Franson, don't like him, never liked him and I think he is a terrible defenseman.... but that's just my opinion. I'd much rather see Percy play than Franson.

The radio this morning in Calgary has said Ashton was on waivers this morning. Unfortunately they never said Orr was on waivers as well.
