That's twice now that a Canadian player has swung an American around because their stick was being held - guess the refs are going to let them play.

US scores on their first shot, Boldy goes between Makar and Toews like they weren't there and slips it past Binner. Canada had been carrying the play to that point.

That ending was a lot more convoluted than it needed to be. Quite the comeback today. :)

Looks like another nail biter coming up, Finns up 2-1 after 2. I haven't had any time to watch this today after a couple hours worth of meetings, hopefully I can wrap up work and watch the 3rd.

USA over the swedes in OT. Had hoped Willy would tally in OT for the Swedes, but it appears that the Americans won't be dispatched so easily. :) Canada gets the Finns, US gets Slovakia.

Also, the Swiss with a huge collapse, up 2 late in the 3rd but give up 2 goals in the last 6 min and Finland wins in OT.

Fricking Czechs, I thought they had us. They played a great game. Somehow, someway, Canada with the win to move on. Binner again comes up huge.

Czechs a bit more dangerous than I remember from the opening game. Also a bit more grumpy taking shots after the play. This is going to be a bit more physical it seems.
