Dreams of a better chunk...

I was curious about this too. Leafs have no first in 2026 or 2027 but also have lottery protection, the sliding picks makes it confusing. Either way it seems they're screwed on picks for years (unless they win the lottery)

Some good news, I only spun the lottery simulator 3 times and got this!

I know I was alarmed 3 games into the season, but now it's actually alarming. I think the Leafs might not even make the playoffs at this point. The only reason they would is the weaker Eastern Conference in general. This is a mess

The November run has hit a speed bump

They've now won 5 of 6 going back to last chunk, and the 2nd chunk winning streak is right on schedule. Does this team ever do anything differently?

This team looks like a complete mess but at least they look spectacular in 4K HDR

All that makes sense but man what a brutal way to lose. So many opportunities to get the winning run, just can't believe they let it slip away. Who knows when and if they'll make it back again, these kind of seasons don't happen all the time.

I'm not shirking my duty, I had to fly to Victoria unexpectedly to be with my sister, she doesn't have a good computer option for me to update the chunks. I'm back in the GTA tonight

We'll find out soon enough. If this team is still middling around .500 or just under after 20 games, it's gonna be a tough season.

I'm really getting a bad feeling about this year. I realize they usually start off slow in the first chunk, but this just feels different. Team is old and slow, especially at defense. I hope I'm wrong but I don't see them suddenly going on a November winning streak like they have in past...

So the upcoming schedule features a bunch of "easy" teams. If the Leafs don't start winning now, it's going to be one long season.
