I mean Rogers already has the majority of MLSE, nothing Tannenbaum could really do to stand in the way of them appointing a president for the Leafs if they really wanted to. Not sure how buying him out will change anything.

Yeah MLSE just doesn't seem to care. Which is weird cause Rogers owns the Jays too, and they have a president. According to Dangle, Ed Rogers is a big baseball fan so he actually cares about what the Jays do, and not much else.

Probably a good bet. I have no idea where the Leafs go from here with regards to leadership. They need a hockey guy as president, that much is obvious, and then let him hire a GM, hopefully someone up and coming who is astute at identifying talent in the draft. Seems like they need a full on...

Yeah I don't trust Trelosing to get as much value at the deadline for these guys. We've seen some crazy returns at deadline time for marginal players, I want to see the Leafs on the receiving end this time with picks and prospects coming back
