Quillan has looked decent in the preseason games but this is a management group that decided David Kampf wasn't capable of playing the 4th line, so... As for Stecher, will Berube even play the guy...he's too small. Couldn't even stay in the lineup for the defensively challenged Oilers so again...

Getting doubled again in SOG on home ice, not good. Kings definitely had more zone time and earned the extra point. Effort wasn't bad tonight but still not good enough.

Spend too much time in the dzone, allow too many shot attempts, and shit happens.

Fortunately the Leafs have an abundance of quality NHL centers on the roster.

Definitely going to tune in for the start of this one to see how they respond without Mattews. Whether I make it through the whole game remains to be seen.

I'm obviously grasping at straws here - looking for reasons to remain invested in a group of players who don't seem to be invested in themselves. A group I'm finding increasingly unlikeable.
